Menopause Herbs
Controling mood swings triggered by menstruation? HELP I'M GOING NUTS!?
This is the deal, I'm getting really tired of PMS and all it implies. Sometimes I get really teary, others really angry, others really annoyed, this time, i'm scared. I'm freaking out over the smallest thing, and normally I'm a pretty strong girl. Any day of the week I can take anyone out and beat them, I stand up for myself, I show compassion, i'm emotionally smart. But when menstruation arrives i'm a wreck! Is there anything that can help... food to eat, herbs to use in tea or cigarretes, mantras? anything please. Tell me what works for you or someone you know. I'm on the pill which balances a little bit of the pain i used to have. Pain is no longer the issue now anyways, but these bloody moodswings. BTW i'm 24 so no close to menopause. Thanks. Please serious answers
Oh, I definitely feel your pain, sweetie.
The pill may actually be a part of the problem.
Read the book _Natural Hormone Balance for Women_ by Uzzi Reiss.
Find a homeopath, nutritionist, and/or someone else skilled in holistic healing. You may benefit from an all natural form of the hormone progesterone and some dietary changes.
Don't expect your gyno to have the answers, because their answer to anything is the pill or antidepressant. I spent years with some serious menstrual problems before seeking the help of my chiropractor/homeopath/nutritionist who set me on the right path.
Get that book, find a good practitioner, and good luck!
