Menopause Hot Flushes Natural Remedies

What natural remedy can I take for hot flushes?

I have reluctantly given in to the menopause and have started to get hot flushes (though I tell other women I don't get them). Can any of you ladies recommed a tried a tested natural remedy or do I have to go to my GP.

Hi Sue, regular physical exercise is necessary to protect against bone loss. Exercise has many other benefits as well.

A diet that is low in saturated fats and cholesterol and high in complex carbohydrates, such as grains, fruits and vegetables is important.2

Vitamin E supplementation may reduce symptoms such as Hot Flashes, night sweats, dizziness, palpitations, fatigue, and breathing difficulties.,,

Calcium is important in maintaining bone mass.

Magnesium intake is often low in women with osteoporosis. Low magnesium intake is associated with low bone mineral content (BMC).

Vitamin D enhances calcium absorption.

Boron reduces urinary calcium loss and increases serum levels of 17 estradiol (estrogen).

Essential fatty acids can help prevent dryness of the hair, skin and vaginal tissues.

Soy supplementation has been suggested as a possible alternative to hormone replacement therapy. Soy isoflavones act as estrogen-like compounds. Forty-five grams of dietary soy, per day for 12 weeks was shown to decrease post-menopausal hot flashes.

Certain herbs such as black cohosh, chasteberry, licorice and dong quai have shown to have a beneficial effect in managing many of the Menopause Symptoms.

Menopause Hormone Treatment

Lupron Depot 11.25 mg and side effects?

Lupron Depot 11.25 and menopause?
I have this treatment done 9 months ago now i don't feel that atraction to my husband, that I need to take hormones? What is wrong now i dont't feel what I use to feel before, can someone tell me what to do?That I need to take hormones to go back to normal I'm done with the treatment...

One of the side effects -which should have been disclosed by your doctor -is loss of sexual desire among others such as vaginal bleeding ,headaches etc...!!
Menopause -male and female - can best be treated and enhance your total quality of life by a comprehensive hormone replacement program!! Not using synthetics but bio-identical hormones!! In the case of awoman it is in the form of acream spread usually around the shoulder for absorption!!
Blood tests are necessary for dosing since eestrogen and progesterone have to be balanced !! It is not that expensive considering the effects that may result from not replacing the normal hormone levels!!
It is the hormones that makes us what we are -in strength, mental acuity , desires, and all around quality of life!!
Most doctors don't touch HRT since they are not properly schooled or keep up with the ongoing research!!! It is easier for them to prescribe some pill from a drug co. -with all its' horrendous side effects -to treat symptoms rather than the source of a condition or problem!!
To get a better idea on this subject search online for anti-aging medicine or to physioage.com!!
I use them as do many others but you have to make your own choice and relevant to where you live -if you pursue this avenue of treatment!!
Women , experiencing bad effects from menopause-some bordering on mental disorders from it- who have gone on the protocol reported normalcy again and want to remain on treatment !! It is worth exloring for all women of menopausal age!!!
A male relative in his 70's went on a male protocol and claims he feels like he is in his 40's again!!
