Symptoms Of Pregnancy Menopause
Who, out there has estrogen deficiency[important, please!]?
So, apparently, the most likely thing related to my odd periods and negative test results and "pregnancy symptoms" is only a hormonal imbalance. I'm way too young for menopause, by the way, so please don't answer me with that. I'm slightly underweight, by about five to ten pounds, I'm going to the doctor next week. But, I got so frustrated and curious about hormonal imbalances that I researched different types and found estrogen deficiency, I have many symptoms of it. I was just wondering who out there had it, how you dealt with it, or got it treated.
Stories of friends, relatives, or significant others will work, too.
I'm just so very curious
I've been through a similar situation. There are so many reasons that someone could have a hormonal imbalance. It could be your thyroid, or it could be what you're eating. I read a book about diet and infertility (The Fertility Diet) and it gave lots of helpful info. Like, if you eat alot of soy products your hormones can be thrown off because all the natural estrogens in soy. And, if you drink alot of skim milk or eat low-fat or no-fat dairy products it could through off your hormones. They explained how milk naturally has 20 some different hormones in it, both male and femaile. Ironically the female hormones are suspended in the fatty part of milk where the male hormones are suspended in the watery part. If you drink whole milk the female hormones can counteract the male hormones. But if you drink/ eat a lot of low-fat dairy you'll get an overflow of male hormones. I read that the best way to tell if a girl has to much testosterone (the main male hormone) is to see if she has acne. I've always had acne, and I just modified my diet a bit. I stopped drinking soy and low-fat milk and started drinking whole milk.... I was so amazed that it cleared most of my acne up in a week! Just be careful if you switch because there is a lot of extra fat and calories in whole milk so it can make you gain a lot of weight. I hope this helped.
