Symptoms Of Onset Of Menopause

Weird symptoms?

I've had 3 previous pregnancies and have been having similar symptoms for about a week but am not pregnant. I just had a check-up and am very healthy. The doctor ran a test anyway and it was negative (as I knew it would be). Then, he told me that it's possibly the onset of pre-menopause. Yet, I'm too young for that and he keeps trying to push pills at me. Has anyone else ever had something like this happen? Was it really pre-menopause? And, do I really need to take a bunch of pills? Thank you.

Pre-Menopause can start early even in late 30's early 40's. You didn't state how old you are but I know of several women who have begun the "pre-menopause" stage. I'd get a second opinion however if your doctors only thought is to start medication that you might not need. Also check out Know Menopause on-line they have a lot of helpful information. Our bodies after the age of 30 can change significantly as the amount of hormones we produce change so it's not unheard of to begin around this time, it doesn't mean you are menopausal however.
