Symptoms Of Menopause Uk
Night sweats and insomnia...?
I've been suffering horrible night sweats on and off for a couple of months now, I wake up drenched (mainly on my upper body?) and have to get a towel and change.
Lately I've not been able to get to sleep either, i've been really restless and tossed and turned then i get very anxious and am suddenly wide awake
I'm only 23 and panicking that it could be early menopause?
I'm not diabetic, i smoke (lights) i get depo provera contraceptive inj so i don't get periods im also on sanomigran for migraines
I have asked previously about the 2 symptoms individually but have put them both together here as i feel they may be linked?

I don't think it's my bedding, i'm cool when i wake up
I have low blood pressure (usually around 80/67) so i'm normally quite cold!
I think that there is a problem with the combination of the pill and the migraine medication. You should be able to have your period. Even if you think that it is unpleasant, it is unnatural and unhealthy not to have a monthly period at your age even/and if this is the effect that the medication is intended to have. If this is not happening see your GP and ideally see a gynaecologist. It looks as though this medication is not intended for you.
Also a word of warning on the cigarettes. There is no such thing as a "lite" cigarette. It is just a marketing spiel. You will get the same damaging chemicals in a "lite" cigarette as in any other. It is just a different flavour - probably not as strong or bitter.

First look after the gynaecological problems and then think seriously about giving up the cigarettes. They could be combining to have a bad affect on your present health and be cancerous long term.
