Symptoms Of Andropause Male Menopause

Andropause in a 27 year old?

I thought this (male menopause) only happened to older guys, but he has all the symptoms. He went to a urologist once because of erectile dysfunction and (without any tests) was told his problems were all "in his head". He was very discouraged by this (and frustrated!) and I've managed to talk him into seeing a doctor again. He wants me there to talk to the doctor as well. What can we say or do to make the doctor take us seriously and really look into this? And what should the doctor be looking for?

I'd find a different doctor. I can't believe a doc would just brush it off as 'all in his head' without at least a couple of blood tests, at least to check testosterone levels and also for something like diabetes. Blood pressure is also important.

But, there are some things you can try at home: he needs to be getting some exercise. If he smokes, he needs to stop. That alone will cause serious ED problems. And if he's sedentary, that also won't help. Good erections need great blood flow.

Good luck. But, at 27, he shouldn't be experiencing this. Something is indeed wrong.
