Surgical Menopause Hormones
I'm in surgical menopause. I'm noticing fluctuations in hormone levels in me because of worse Hot Flashes, ir
Irritability, etc. My question is, why are my hormone levels changing? I thought I don't have them anymore! (hormones). How come sometimes I can go weeks with virtually no hot flashes, then other times they are severe?
Been in SM for almost two years..
I don't normally do this, but in your case I will. My grandmother and mother have the same problems. My grandmother has gone rounds with her doctors trying to find something to lessen the hot flashes (or power surges as grandma likes to call them), but nothing worked.
Now, for the past couple of years they have both been taking a natural med for it called Black Cohosh and it's made by a company called Doctor's Holistic-Market. After trying many meds, they both swear it's the absolute best thing you're going to find.
I'm not one for the "all natural method", but in their cases they tried everything else with no change until now. Grandma and mom haven't had a "power surge" since.
Anyway... I hope this helps and GOOD LUCK!!
