Starting Age For Menopause

Whats the youngest age anyone has started the menopause?

Im 37 and feel ok, but my friend has just started getting Hot Flashes, and her monthly cycle has went from 7 days to 3 days. I dont know any of the symtoms of the menopause so it got me thinking, i must be at the age where its possible i could start soon. Is there any specific symptoms i should look out for along with the ones i said my friend has been having?

A lot of females enter the stage of perimenopause in their late 30's I have had hot flashes for a couple of years and I have missed my cycle a couple of times as well.
