Pregnancy Perimenopause

How did you keep from being paranoid about being pregnant during perimenopause?

i keep skipping periods and am always worried i'm pregnant
because birth control isn't 100%
i keep taking home pregnancy tests...but i hate the worry

Well you could calculate when you're most fertile if you know how often your period comes and avoid that week. Generally you're ok in late in the week before your period. Are you using condoms as well? If you're not and your boyfriend is giving you crap about using them cus it "doesn't feel as good" then either explain to him as delicately as possible that it's safer, protecting u more effectively against pregnancy in combination with your bc pills and it will protect BOTH of you from any STIs. If he doesn't believe abt STIs because he's faithful look up bacterial vaginosis or yeats infections and explain that those can spread to him if you get them...not that you should be having sex if you have BV or a yeats infection....but in case you don't know, the condom will protect him from getting it as well.
