Pre Menopause Menstrual Cycle
Creationists, do you not believe in menopause?
Or can any woman who happens to live for 800 years continue to have children at an age of 4-500?
Or did women have an infinite supply of eggs or an alternate menstrual cycle pre-flood?
Goofy? Why thank you, I normally get called much worse things
Answers here evidently show a lack of understanding that women have a finite supply of gametes.
1) Or can any woman who happens to live for 800 years continue to have children at an age of 4-500?
I'd guess that any woman whose natural life span was 800 years would mature in a correspondingly slow manner - that is, that such a woman would not reach menopause until 400-500 years of age, as you suggest. There is a problem with such a hypothesis, though: it assumes that the ovarian cycle would likewise be slowed to roughly 1/10th what is common for human women, *and* it assumes that the ova themselves would remain healthy for that lengthy period. Of course, neither of those things is impossible; but they do seem unlikely in light of our limited knowledge.
