Post Menopause Hysterectomy

Help is there a doctor on here or anyone?

my mom has developed tinnitus and she needs help to recover she got this after she had a total hysterectomy. she would like to know what would help her. does anyone know of anything or has experience this that can give tips or some kind to help this screeching noise in her ears. she is post -menopause and she desperately in need of help.

thanks

please help her on how to make the screeching in her ear stop
thats the problem she has been to every ear thoart and nose doctor and regular doctor including hospital that she could find and they all look into her ears and they the same thing that nothing is wrong

She should see her doctor. Medical problems can cause tinnitus, but I have never heard of it happening after a hysterectomy...unless she's anemic. She should have an examination to figure out why. I have lived with it for years and years and I have not been able to get rid of it. I can't sit in quiet rooms because the ringing noise is so severe it drives me crazy. I have to sleep with a fan on at night to drown out the sounds too. So I feel for your mother. It's not fun at all. Until she sees a doctor have her try keeping continuous background noise going to drown out the ringing. Nothing loud and obnoxious. Just a small fan turned on low can be a life saver.

Edit-
Ear problems aren't the only causes.

High blood pressure
Damage from certain medications
TMJ
Thyroid problems

And so on.
