Polycystic Ovaries And Menopause
Brown discharge, negative preg test, period MIA?
I have a Dr appt Monday, but I'm just trying to see if anyone has had anything similiar.
I've been TTC for 7 mos now. My periods have been every 16-18 days, monthly. Normally, I have very heavy periods that last 5-7 days. I have polycystic ovaries & endometriosis as well.
Oct: the day my period was due, I had light brown discharge that only appeared when I wiped. This lasted 1 day. I figured it was the start of my period, but the heavy red part never appeared.
This month, 2 days before my period was due, I had the same thing. It went on for 1 day, stopped. Started again 2 days later when my period was due & lasted 3 days. Very light. Sometimes not even there when I wipe.
2 days before the spotting in Oct I began having Hot Flashes and night sweats and headaches that near migraines. These haven't gone away and have continued even when the spotting stopped. I'm 23- too young for menopause.
Preg test 2 days ago was negative. Any ideas what this could be?
i have endo too and i've had random periods like that for many years (i'm 29). i also have had symptoms just like yours during times when i wasn't pregnant. before i knew that i had endo, when those symptoms would come i was taking pregnancy tests for weeks because it was so similar to how i felt when i was pregnant. now when i feel that way i just assume it's the endo (or adenomyosis-- i have that too now). if i started vomitting daily, i would take a preg test, but otherwise i just wait it out. sometimes those symptoms last weeks for me. but truthfully i hope that for you it really is a pregnancy!
