Pink Discharge After Menopause

No period after Provera?

What does it mean if you don't get a period after taking 10 mg Provera for 10 days? It has been 6 days after taking my last Provera pill & I had heavy dark brown & pink discharge for 2 days after stopping the pills, but now nothing! I took Provera 2 mos. ago & had a really heavy period. I need my period to start so I can take Clomid & I don't understand what is going on this time.

One website I read said that if you don't get your period after Provera, you're in menopause! I'm only 24 & I'm getting worried...please share your advice! Thanks!

At the age of 24 I do not think that you have to worry About Menopause. I was on 10 mg of Provera as well. My period still hasn't come after two weeks of being off of it. I went in for blood work this morning and my doctor informed me that I had already ovulated. So, I can expect my period to come in the next two weeks.

Generally, your period is supposed to start anywhere from 7 to 14 days after your last Provera. If it does not call your doctor and they can check you progesterone levels to see if you have already ovulated.
Good Luck!

P.s. When my period didn't start I began to self diagnose as well. I picked something equally horrible that would mean I would never have children. Relax, I am sure that everything will work out.
