Perimenopause symptom?

Just before I get my period, about four days before, I start to have spotting only in the morning or when I poop. It happens only on those nights I have night sweats....I did have a colonoscopy two years ago and all is great. but I don't know why this happens....does it sound like perimenopause?

You didn't say how old you are. If you're over 45-50, then sure it could be menopause. The spotting when you poop - that could be some small hemorrhoids that may have developed since your colonoscopy. If you know when your mom was menopausal, that would be a good guide. Things like puberty and menopause are often hereditary.
