Perimenopause Hot Flashes At Night
One of the biggest problems that women who are going through menopause face is Hot Flashes. They can come at any time and can be not only disturbing and uncomfortable but very disruptive. Amberen, a new herbal product on the market, claims that it can stop them in their tracks. How much truth is there in this? In this article I will look at whether or not Amberen can actually stop hot flashes.
Perhaps the first thing we should look at is how Amberen is supposed to work. Amberen contains natural succinate salts which are meant to improve the communication between the hormone producing glands and the brain. The reason why many women suffer hot flashes is because their body is not used to the sudden imbalance in hormones and so the part of the body which regulates temperature gets knocked out of sync. Through improving communication between the organs and the brain, Amberen attempts to stop them all together.
This is all very well, but does it actually work? In my experience, the large majority of women who take Amberen will see some kind of reduction in the number of hot flashes they have to deal with. For some women, they will become a thing of the past whereas for others they simply see a reduction in their severity or frequency. There does not seem to be any kind of easy way of telling if someone will respond positively to Amberen so the best thing to do is to order the trial and see if it starts reducing your hot flashes after about three weeks. If there is no reduction by then, then there is not much point in reordering.
