Perimenopause Clotting

Neverending Cycle?

I am getting rather concerned about this, as I really cannot afford to see a doctor. I have had my period, consitantly, since the end of March and sometimes I have a lot of clotting. I have had this before, where I have my period for months at a time, and it goes away only to return a week later. Has anyone encountered this? Should I go to a doctor? Any information is appreciated. I just don't know if I am maybe going into perimenopause...I just turned 34. If this is the case, will I not be able to have kids?

One of my friends had an ongoing cycle. She went to the doctor and she found she had lumps on her ovaries. They put her on birthcontrol to stop the bleeding, but be careful if you do that -- the day after she stopped, she woke up in a puddle of it.
I think you SHOULD go to the doctor, just in case.
