Menopause Tingling Skin

Early menopause at just 36? Anyone else started early?

Hi,

I have had tingling fingers and forehead, dry skin and mood swings over the last six months. Now my period hasn't arrived (two weeks late) and I am not pregnant (two tests done). It is daft as I have kids, but I am beside myself of the thought that I might have an early menopause! I'm off to the doctors...

Has anyone else had one?

Thanks
Hi
Can you tell me your story and how you coped with it? x

Early menopause happens for a few reasons. Sometimes it just happens naturally, but more often than not it occurs because of a medical condition we have or because our ovaries are surgically removed. In these non-natural cases, women who experience early menopause may have more intensified symptoms. It may be hard to believe, but early menopause can happen to females from age 15 and up! Early Onset Of Menopause and early menopause are two different subjects. Early menopause occurs to women before the age of 45, whereas Premature Menopause occurs before the age of 40.
