Menopause Periods
Crazy periods. Maybe early sign of menopause?
Ok, I just turned 37 and I have 6 kids. I had a tubal ligation after the last one was born 14 months ago. My period changed somewhat after the tubal as I was warned it would, became heavier and crampier, but were a day shorter than they used to be. Now for the last 2 months my period is all over the map. Started normal period on schedule May 3rd-7th. I started AGAIN on May 29th-June 1st. Now today, June 16th, I'm cramping and bleeding yet again. I thought with menopause your periods tended to skip sometimes. This is beginning the 3rd in about 6 weeks time. I just had my annual gyno visit on the 28th of May, and I got a letter stating that my smear and STD tests came back normal. Is it possible that I am starting meopause already, and is it possible to get periods MORE often while going through menopause? I know that if your mother went thru it early you can too but she passed away before it happened to her so I don't know. My periods have always been very regular until now.
Yes my dear it could be early menopause and yes my
periods were all over the map as well. One month nothing next month 15 days of bleeding. I ended up having to have a D and C. That helped a lot. then the periods got shorter and shorter and then they were gone. I never had any Hot Flashes
no other symptoms. This was when I was 53 but my mother had finished her menopause by 40 so go figure.
