Menopause Periods Just Stopped

I have a question About Menopause?

I am nearly 50, and have sure Symptoms Of Menopause. I had a light period the last week of April and I am starting again this week. I have been very regular for my entire life, so I am wondering what comes next. Aren't the periods suppose to stop, not be closer together? should I worry? I just wish it were over!!!

Unfortunately they don't just stop. They can be all over the place for while.

My cycle shortened up to 21 days, which was most unpleasant. Then I started skipping periods. Eventually they were about nine months apart. THEN I stopped.

There's no way to give you a time frame to get through the whole process. It's different for everyone. It can take years.
