Was your hysterectomy radical or partial?
Though it is true that alternative HRT, like some specific herbs, may not suit just every one, it has helped a lot of women with your condition. Some sterols in plants serve as precursors of estrogen-like substance that mimic estrogen activity. Chemoreceptors availability in the woman body for this type of "weak estrogens" will determine the effectivity and factibility of this type of treatment.
I have seen tremendous results in similar cases by prescribing 10 ounces of home-made soy milk, twice a day, along with 1,200 mg of Wild Yam extract and 40 drops of Red Clover extract mixed in a lemon peel tea or decoction. All this should be repeated twice a day.
Again, this is not a definite protocol to substitute a more functional approach, since every woman's body is unique and not every one will react the same way. But I can testify responsibly to the fact that I have seen wonderful results in more than a dozen cases using this simple approach.
Leaving medical technicalities aside, I encourage you to give it a try to see if your body will respond to it. I have also tried a natural "medical-grade" biological product, MenoFem, in drops, with similar results. Still, not all women react the same way.
Vitamin E levels will define much of the outcome of this alternative therapy.
Good luck!
