Menopause Fsh
I'm confused what FSH levels determine?
Why is the FSH level important to test for menopause, while at the same time important to check for ovulation? When you buy the home test to check for menopause, the test states that it is also a test for ovulation/fertility. Someone explain to me about the FSH level. I thought the LH surge was the important one for ovulation.
I had some blood tests in June and it was determined that my body was not producing enough FSH in the beginning part of my cycle. FSH is suppose to stimulate your ovaries to produce the egg and without a high enough level, you will most likely not ovulate. Also, if your FSH is not at a certain level pre-ovulation, doctors are able to tell if your body can make enough progesterone, which is vital for pregnancy.
