Menopause Bleeding After A Year
is this the first Signs Of Menopause?
i am 31 years old with 4 kids. no c sections. well since march my menstrual cycle is whack. in march i spotted for 2 days barely spotted. in april i was on my menstrual cycle for almost 3 weeks. i went to the doc they did a pregnant test and hemoglobin it was 14.9. they said i am not pregnant, and its very unlikely i had a miscarriage while i was bleeding. well today i started bleeding again 8 days after i stopped bleeding the almost 3 weeks. and its not spotting. i dont take any birth control pills. i dont take nothing. i called my doc this morning when i started again and they said something baout a shot of hormone what does this mean. am i going through menopause or my menstraul cycle is whack? my cycles were always on tme or close till march this year for almost 5 years. the cramping is what is different sometimes its real pain fl and sometimes its not. with my family history well my mom had a hysteretomy how ever you spell at 22 and she is adopted so that all i know .
your are too young for menopause, it usually starts around mid to high forties... and the more common sypmtoms are " hot flushes " or heat and cold intolerance... rarely are the first symtoms related to the menstrual cycle...
the more common explanation for your case is that your cycle is " out of whacked "... the most common cause of these is stress...
now im only guessing, but judging from the way you wrote your question, you seem to have a lot on your mind and it seems to me your stress level is way up there with the price of gasoline...
when we are stress-out, the body sometimes does not produce enough hormones needed to be physiological ( oddly enough, sometimes it produces too much, but that is another story )
the shot of hormone that your ob-gyne gave you was to attempt to jump-start your cycle back to normal
PS im a physician... and more importantly , a good listener
