Menopause And Memory Problems

Why does menopause affect my memory ? Why does my brain seem more efficient some days than others ?

Some days I am able to see a problem and find a solution. Other days I can't figure it out. Whether it be a common household problem ( fixing a sprinkler timer, assembling a book case etc.) or maybe just playing a game on the computer ( free cell for example) The answers seem clear one day and on another I go about solving it in a completely illogical way. Also have terrible time remembering names lately.

It will affect every thing, but don't you worry will be over soon
