Low Testosterone Menopause

estradiol/testosterone cream for low libido?

I am in my later 30's (I have not gone through menopause) and was prescribed estradiol/testosterone cream for a decreasing libido/diminishing orgasm issues. I know everyone is different, but does this cream work, and how long does it usually take to see any benefits, if at all? Also, are side effects common? Since it is being applied topically, I have heard side effects are minimal. I asked the pharmacist, but I'd really like to hear from those who have used it.
Thanks.

hi
I use estradiol gel and testosterone gel. Both are very effective for the libido but it took about three months to enjoy the full benefits of the treatment. I haven't suffered any side effects except from occasional minor leg cramps from the estradiol.
Estrogen helps by improving the skin of the vaginal lips - it plumps them up and enhances sensation as the nerve endings dull when estradiol levels begin to drop. Testosterone improves libido and also confidence and assertion.
