Hot Flashes Zoloft

cymbalta-anti-depressant?

had tried a few different antidepressants with no luck until i used cymbalta.have felt pretty good for about a year however am now noticing increased anxiety with Hot Flashes & sweats. behavioral doctor states it may be from low blood sugar(type 2 diabetic) however i took blood sugar test after symptoms occurred and my reading was ok.medical doctor states its probably from cymbalta.she had a few patients who got symptoms such as high blood pressure and sweats. i think behavioral doctor wants me to stay on cymbalta because effexor & zoloft did not work.advice please.

I think you should tell the behavioral doctor what your medical doctor said and that you need to try a different medication. Their are other meds out there for depression which you could try. Plus if the symptoms continue after you stop the cymbalta then its not the cymbalta causing the problem and you can go back on it
