Hot Flashes On Clomid

ttc for what feels like forever,another metformin & clomid question?

My cycle is every 25 days,my last period started on May2, I took 200mg of clomid on days3-7 plus 1000mg of metformin. I ovulate on my own, never had to use fertility meds w/my other kids and our tests came back fine. My period usually lasts 4 days but this month it only lasted 2 days. When I took clomid before it didn't change my cycle but will the combo? Then again I had just started the metformin a day or 2 before I started my clomid. I've been having a lot of dizzy spells, Hot Flashes from the clomid but is it the metformin that must be making me feel sick these last couple of days?

Yes, its the metformin! When I started taking it, I vommited nearly every day for 2wks.. It went away for a month, then started again. Guess what? I was pregnant. But even now when I forget to take it, as soon as I start again, I get sick. Why are you taking the clomid if you ovulate naturally? Anyhow, I think your symptoms could be from metformin, or pregnancy. It really feels the same. Good luck, baby dust!
