When is menopause age? Is it the same for every woman? Should women worry when they finally arrive at this age? Answers to these questions and information that every woman should pay attention to are provided in this report. So girl, read on...

Menopause age and periods of changes

The menopause average age for most women is the 50s. However, this doesn't mean that it is the same with all women. Some may experience early menopause in their 40s, while others may show Symptoms of Perimenopause (the period before actual menopause) as early as their 30s.

Factors that could play a role

1) Genes - A woman's age for menopause will likely be similar to that of her mother and other female members of her family. If most of the women in the family experienced early menopause, it is highly likely that the rest will follow suit.

On the other hand, a woman in a family with women starting menopause late will likely experience it late herself. In short, genes have some say in it, although not in all cases.

2) Smoking - According to some women's health experts, a woman who smokes is a prime candidate for early menopausal symptoms and will also likely go to the menopausal phase a few years earlier than non-smoking women.

3) Surgical menopause - Certain surgical procedures can cause an onset of menopause regardless of the age of the woman. Hysterectomy, or the surgical removal of the uterus, leads to the end of menstruation which in itself can already be considered menopause.

However, women who have undergone this procedure but who still have their ovaries might not show most of the symptoms because their bodies are still being supplied by estrogen through their ovaries.

On the other hand, oophorectomy, or the surgical removal of ovaries, will automatically cause menopausal symptoms to appear because the main sources of hormones have already been removed.

4) Lifestyle - Certain habits could play a role in determining a woman's menopause average age. Being in a high-tension environment (highly challenging job, tension in family life, etc.), not having the proper diet, lack of exercise and exposure to environmental toxins call all contribute to an Early Onset Of Menopause.

Menopause age is not determined by a single factor. A lot of elements in a woman's life can play a part in determining when she will be experiencing symptoms. The important thing is to lead a healthy life and to not worry about this natural part of life. You might not believe it, but most women actually find it great that they do not need to worry about monthly periods and about getting pregnant.
