Don’t Succumb to Your Night Sweats From Hot Flashes

Mark M Fischer asked:

Now that more rigorous effort is put into studying and addressing woman's health issues, we have a far greater understanding of menopause and its various phases. You no longer need to wallow away in futile ignorance as your body makes its inevitable transitions.

If you're struggling with the onset of pre-menopause or if you're persevering the last gasps of Post Menopause, you are likely combating the frustration of nightly Hot Flashes.

While we can appreciate how hot flashes are a phase of the natural progression of menopause and a universal phase of a woman's life, this still doesn't afford women any more comfort.

Additionally, it can be annoying when you suffer them coming on at various times during the day, but they can be even more infuriating when they occur without your being consciously aware of it in the middle of the night.

No matter how natural night sweats may be, the clammy, dank sheets never grow any more pleasant. My mom's doctor tried reassuring her by explaining how this burst of perspiration was just her body eliminating extra toxins and thus she may actually experience a kind of increased sense of purity. Ha!

Maybe this is technically correct, but it sounds like a tale intended to comfort her rather than a real means for addressing the irritating process of awaking to a chilly, clammy bed.

I'm thankful that in recent years a more genuine and willing awareness of feminine health issues has developed to a point where a much wider part of the health profession now studies and provides a variety of therapies to assist women in their battles with menopause night sweats.

We are discovering more and more widespread use of safe, natural therapies and I hope more and more rigorous testing of these therapies to verify their usefulness. You can now find a number of safe methods for you to use, thus I urge you to be more aggressive in addressing your discomfort.

Whether you use an improved diet, a selection of natural supplements, an addition to your vitamin and mineral consumption, or whether you become more aggressive with investing in particular fans designed specifically to carefully cool you through the night, there are a number of options for you to consider that were not available just a few years ago.

I suggest you do something about it, though. You may begin to feel futile and just chalk it up to another inevitability of life, but this doesn't have to be the case. Plus, your entire body and psyche will be stressed and challenged as you navigate perimenopause, so willfully dumping on another irritation like night sweats just isn't the wisest idea.

So take a more steadfast approach to your night sweats from perimenopause so you can combat some of the more dramatic changes your system and psyche will endure during these difficult years. Don't pile on poor sleep to everything else you must persevere during this challenging part of your life.

And thus I urge you to take action. You can combat those sleepy hot flashes. You can improve your quality of life with some effort and just a little more wisdom.
