Chemical Menopause Medications
Please - does anyone else have this problem?
I have always been like this - but with menopause it now seems worse. I constantly feel nervous, shaky, like crying, heart races the minute I wake up. I feel like life is just too hard because I am not functioning well and I can't seem to get hired because I am nervous during the interviews and don't come across as a good prospect. I am on an anti-depressant and an anti-anxiety medication but still feel like I could just jump right out of my skin. I don't feel depressed, I just feel so damn nervous every minute. Could this be a chemical problem? Is something possibly wrong with my thyroid? I've been to doctors and doctors and they don't find anything wrong. Please help.
Hi Sweet Daisy....
It sounds like you need a Complete Blood work up- to rule out thyroid imbalances, along with any other things that could be off the norm. The anti-depressant and anti-anxiety meds might not be the right dosage, or even the right prescription. Please go to your Physician and ask for a Complete Physical. I know this isn't the best advice, but, only a Physician can point you in the right direction. If you haven't already, I'd advice you to get a Second Opinion...Take care, My Friend.
