Before Menopause

I hate housework, but before the menopause I had a 'nesting' time when I felt compelled to 'clean up'

Now I give my house a quick 'whip round' when I'm expecting visitors. I live alone, Does anyone else feel like this, or am I a truly bad woman?
Thank you Sandwich. Problem is, I can always find other things to do and since I work from home, I don't have time to 'get out more'. When I 'get out' it costs me money in lost work!

I've always been a very disorderly person, because I've always got a lot of projects going on and want everything out where I can pick it up and get back to work. To me, it's orderly, but I know I drove my ex-husband nuts, as he was a complete minimalist neatnik. I'm just getting into Menopause Now, and I sure hope it doesn't get worse! They will find me buried under a collapsed pile of craft equipment and books some day!
