Am I Going Through Menopause

If I am going through menopause can a pregnancy test show positive, even if I'm not pregnant ?

I'm pretty sure that I am going through menopause right now and I haven't had a period since January. I don't know if I could get pregnant because I have my tubes tied. If I take a pregnancy test can it come out positive, even if I'm not pregnant ?

I'm not sure. But getting pregnant after a tubal ligation is not completely unheard of. I had a patient a few days ago who has had hers tied twice, and still gets pregnant, only loses the baby shortly after.
