Age Of Menopause In Women

Need book suggestions on women accepting getting "old" and moving into a positive phase (the wise woman, etc)?

My boyfriend's mother is having a very, very hard time accepting that she's aged (it seemed to happen rather suddenly after menopause). She was attractive when she was younger and still is in my opinion but she can't get over it and it seems to be on her mind too much even though she has so many positive qualities - she's intelligent, open minded, funny, creative, caring. Are there any books you can recommend that I can get her that have to do with women aging and moving into a new positive phase, such as the "wise woman," "the healer," etc? She has a lot to offer and I would really like to see her happy with herself as this seems to greatly impact her self-esteem.

Also any biographies/autobiographies of older women role models (like Eleanor Roosevelt)?

Thanks!
